The blind masseur is visibly delightedas he uses his elbow and hand to massage the client in front of him, who has an amusingly ambiguous expression – a mixture between pain and relief. His facial expression is split into two halves. One eye is opened accompanied with a frown and the other is closed with a smile. The wood is darkened and accentuated in some areas for effect. Natural himotoshi and signature BEIZAN 米山 on the underside.
