呈横立体长方形，凿有长方形卯眼。卯眼两壁钻有相对应的孔眼，细的一端凿有凹槽。器主体雕琢隐起蟠虺纹。此器应为春秋时期某种器物的饰物。卯眼可纳它器，同时也可从圆孔中横贯销子，予以固定。1978年河南省淅川县下寺三号墓出土过类似物。此物器型独特，纹饰精美，包浆厚重，沁色浓烈，时代特征明显，殊为难得。
