Sándor Alexander Kubinyi von Demenfalva (1875-1949), war ab 1895 Schüler Simon Hollósys in
München und malte 1896-1898 in der bedeutenden ungarischen Künstlerkolonie Nagybánya. 1898 ließ Kubinyi sich in München nieder, mehrfach nahm er 1910-1923 an der Nationalen Kunstausstellung in Budapest teil.
