An Islamic bronze Seljuq inkpot
Of squat cylindrical form, a flattened shoulder with two rings to the body.
Cast bronze inkwell with punched and within panels with seated figures, panel surounded with silver inlay and arabesque decoration, scrolling vines surrounding; Kufic inscription silver inlaid to lid , the domed cover with bird finial.
Provenance: part of a private Belgian collection.
