A rare children's nursery plate by Podmore, Walker & Co, circa 1842, probably commemorating the birth of Albert Edward, Prince of Wales, printed with a child riding a dog beneath the title 'The Young Cavalier', impressed mark to base, diameter 14.3cm (starcrack), together with four other nursery plates, 1840s, one with alphabet moulded rim.
