圓形，半圓鈕，圓鈕座。主紋飾區繪製一呈正側面佈局的龍，龍身軀被壓於鏡鈕之下，一左一右兩肢分佈左右，有粗壯錐形雙角，雙角後仰，圓目怒睜，隆鼻上翹，龍口大張吐舌露齒，細長頸有鱗甲紋，龍首回望，龍身和長尾呈“S“形甩動，尾部末端呈曲卷盤繞狀，孔武有力，咆哮舞爪，周身雲氣繚繞，威武霸氣。在龍身下壓住一只鳳鳥，鳳鳥做回首狀。龍口前方刻銘文“四口年五月五日”銘文。 近緣處分布一周櫛齒紋，外平緣上一周變形卷草紋帶。此鏡版工細致，完整。紋飾浮雕而成，整器黑漆古，不可多得。
