A brass cloisonne vase with conflicting colored patterns of ruyi heads within a central lotus flower which is surrounded by floral scroll on each side of the body and two sides of the neck. A pair of elephant head handles issue from a diapered ground on the other two sides of the square neck, which rises to a slightly everted square mouth. The rounding, slanted, diapered shoulders and incised sections of the tapering body each bear a polished round white stone, with a red, white, & blue blossom shape near the square terraced base. H: 12 1/4" (31cm) Condition: In rough condition with a missing bottom panel, a repaired crack near the base at one side, cracks and damage to several of the decorative stones
