|以整段黄杨木圆雕而成，整件造像，以繁复的透雕工艺，将人物造型，衣纹飘逸，表现的轻薄透体，使整段黄杨木毫无笨重感，灵巧轻快，木雕保养得法，皮色红润亮丽。|黄杨木雕因所雕刻木材是黄杨木而得名。黄杨木生长缓慢，四五十年的直径仅有15厘米左右，所以有“千年难长黄杨木”、“千年黄杨难做拍”的说法。由于黄杨木质地坚韧光洁，纹理细密，色黄加象牙，年久色渐深，古朴美观，硬度适中，在明清时期，得到空前的发展。从其精湛的工艺和皮色等方面判断，此摆件当为清朝时期作品。
