周炼霞（1908-2000），原籍江西吉安，生于湖南湘潭，字紫宜，号螺川，书斋名螺川书屋，又名忏红轩。1922年开始学画，师从郑壶叟。1934年6月加入冯文凤、李秋君、陈小翠、顾飞等创办的中国女子书画会。擅长中国画，兼作诗词、小说。己卯中秋炼霞写并题。炼霞（朱文）
