此炉造型典雅，为钟与鼎之合体。炉盖呈覆碗形，盖钮呈碗状；熏炉炉身圆桶直壁下收，底承三足，形制端庄稳重；通体满施青金釉，雍容典雅的青金釉上满绘金丝纹饰，尤以鼎身最为明显，腰身金光灿灿，为乾隆时期华贵绚丽风格之体现。此熏炉周身饰以镂空变形回纹，纹饰古朴中带变化，体现清代盛世匠师深厚的艺术修养。钟和鼎在我国素来是上层阶级的象征，“钟鸣鼎食”形容的正是古代贵族之奢华，而此熏炉上满铺金丝纹饰，更为凸显贵族气派。此炉置于室内，让人不禁翩想华室生香。参阅：1.《1995-2002年单色釉瓷器拍卖图鉴——蓝釉》，湖北美术出版社，朵云轩1995年9月24日，蓝釉金彩三足熏炉，lot390；2.北京瀚海2012年珊瑚地描金夔龙纹熏炉《中和堂制》楷书款，成交价RMB1，380，000。
