铺首尊造型取法上古青铜器，创烧於雍正朝，盛於乾隆朝，为清代官窑之经典品种。本尊造型端庄，敞口微撇，两肩饰“椒图”铺首衔环耳，自口沿而下分绘蕉叶纹、缠枝花卉纹、回纹、如意纹、缠枝莲纹、海水波涛纹等六层纹饰，其中颈和肩之间的纹饰以突起的弦纹分隔，工艺考究，繁而不乱；青花纹饰描绘精细，发色雅美。此种器形创烧于雍正，盛行于乾隆，道光后再不烧造，数量稀少，加之胎质细密，器身绘画技艺高超，是一件难得的乾隆官窑陈设重器。此器彰昭古风之气韵，陈设于室中，更显庄重典雅。
