4th-7th century AD. A group of two stamp seals: one rock crystal with two facing gryphons and beaded border, the other white agate with a horned animal, possibly an antelope. Accompanied by a museum-quality impression. 6.42 grams total, 14.4-14.7mm (1/2"). From a private collection of seals and amulets, the property of a Canadian gentleman living in London; from his father's collection formed in the late 1960s to 1980s. [2]
