9th-6th century BC. A carved agate cylinder seal, with twelve fish with tail and pectoral, fin swimming in an orderly formation; three in a row horizontally and in four rows vertically from right to left. Accompanied by a museum-quality impression. 2.15 grams, 17mm (5/8"). From a private collection of seals and amulets, the property of a Canadian gentleman living in London; from his father's collection formed in the late 1960s to 1980s.
