A silver ring comprising a D-section narrow hoop with flared shoulders, long ellipsoid plaque with stepped ends, two low discoid studs with reserved cross motif flanking a trumpet bezel with intaglio nimbate facing figure holding a processional cross and frond. 14.69 grams, 33.14mm overall, 22.03x20.69mm internal diameter (approximate size British X 1/2, USA 11 3/4, Europe 26.92, Japan 25) (1 1/4"). From the collection of a European gentleman living in South London; acquired 1970-1980.
