Rare potpourri vase, Meissen, mark 1850-1924, 1st quality, baluster shape in the style of an amphora vase with raised handles. The lid is pierced with relief oak wreath as a knob and around the edge. Underglaze moonlight in old rose, on the front extremely finely crafted, cameo-like representations of a nymph with a torch in so-called pâte-sur-pâte painting. Two-piece burned and bolted.
