玉壶春瓶定型于宋代，历经元、明、清直至今，成为瓷器造型中最为经典的器种之一。本品纤颈鼓腹，造型简洁稳重。罩施黑釉，以白地黑釉剔花工艺将纹饰分为三层，其间以弦纹相隔，分别饰卷草、回纹及荷塘花鸟纹。整体剔划技法老练，构图饱满，层次分明，尤见其古雅朴拙之风韵。
