宋代极盛一时的龙泉青瓷，经元至明，仍继续烧造。明初之时，龙泉青瓷和景德镇瓷居于同等地位。此盘大气端庄，盘通体施龙泉青釉，青翠浓厚。内壁刻折枝花卉纹一周，盘底中央刻五爪云龙一只，姿态矫健，舒展霸气，双目圆睁，龙鳞及须发刻画细致入微，其刀工卓绝，线条流畅毫不拖沓，风格苍劲有力，彰显出真龙的王者之风。
