(sight), 20 x 25.75 in. (frame).The Comet was built in 1851 and known for her velocity sailing in various routes, including the Australia trade, New York to Liverpool and San Francisco to Hong Kong. She was sold to the Black Ball Line in 1863 and disappeared at sea in 1865.
