来源：购于美国加利福尼亚州拍卖会 此柄如意以整块白玉雕琢而成，体量硕大，耗材颇多，质地光润，略带皮色。所雕如意呈瑞芝状，云叶首，首面隆起，以花卉蝠纹装饰，两只蝙蝠一上一下翱翔于花叶间。如意曲柄自上至下分别装饰蝴蝶、石榴、佛手等纹饰。中国传统审美中，纹饰的表现往往“图必有意，意必吉祥”。其中蝙蝠,因“蝠”与“福”谐音,契合人们追求幸福的心愿。石榴因“千房同膜,千子如一”是表示多子的祥瑞之果。佛手也因与“福”谐音，有多福之意。故本件如意可称为多子多福如意。
