Guard House. June the 9th 1802', 31.8 x 27.7cm, in a glazed giltwood frame.
Provenance: 'A Lifetime of Collecting'-The property of a gentleman.
Guard House is in New Skipton, North Yorkshire. James Thomson (1700-1748) was a Scottish poet and playwright. His most famous works are The Castle of Indolence and The Seasons.
