An early netsuke carved from kurogaki wood (black persimmon) depicting an ox with a raised head. The material is a beautiful shimmering black with a dark brown area. Large himotoshi through the side and underside.
LENGTH 5.1 cm
Condition: Very good and complete condition with faint cracks typical for the material.
