A pair of sancai-glazed, Chinese, porcelain guardian lions both with mouths agape, both on leaf-shaped bases: - the smaller with a forepaw raised where a cub clings - the larger standing on four legs, with a rider bearing a tray on its back (possibly used to hold incense sticks).
