Dino Abidin (1913-1993), a major Turkish artist who worked in Istanbul and Paris. In the 1930s he met with Getrude Stein, Tristan Tzara and Picasso, with whom he worked together in Vallauris. In 1979 he was elected Honorary President of the French Artists' Union UNAP. Large area composition in muted earth tones, oil on Lwd., U. re.
