A Japanese Lacquered Metal (Copper) Plate, of dished, circular form decorated on the black ground in gold and coloured takamakie and e-nashiji with a wasp amid flowers and foliage, the rim bears a band of Ho-o birds and floral motifs, the reverse lacquered in green ishime with black and gold devices, signed in a chamfered cartouche in the base Nihon Kyoto.........., diameter 30cms, Meiji-Taisho era.
