A Japanese Bronze Vase of tall, slender ovoid form resting on a slightly splayed foot and rising to a trumpet neck, the shoulder applied with Torii-form handles, decorated to one side with a Golden Pheasant amid peonies whilst a sparrow flies overhead, the reverse with further sparrows amid other flowering plants, all in kebori with copper, shakudo, gold and silver hon-zogan and taka-zogan, the neck with hon-zogan formal devices, height 55.3cms, Meiji period
