來源：購自美國辛辛那堤市 The John Shillito Co.青白玉質，凝光厚實，柔和溫潤，局部有褐色沁。獸體渾圓結實，呈回首蜷縮之姿，首側躺貼伏身軀，菱形眼，粗眉大鼻，雙耳後貼，獨角，口銜靈芝，靈芝肥碩，枝幹粗壯，葉片柔美，富有生機。身軀環繞成團狀，長尾彎曲上捲，神情溫馴可愛。底有三足，散落金黃沁色，仿若足踏金沙，增添華貴氣韻。異獸之稱最早見於《後漢書．西南夷傳》：「畫山神海靈奇禽異獸。」因其用於鎮邪避災，故後人又稱吉祥瑞獸，與靈芝組合，預兆祥瑞的誕生與健康長壽。本件瑞獸造形比例和諧，雕工細緻，肌肉表現栩栩如生，置於案頭或為文玩，或為紙鎮，或為陳設，情趣盎然。
