來源：大阪美術俱樂部箱款：螢蒝花府□□蓋 中村 麥螢蒔繪香盆附原共箱盆面描繪夏季夜晚 , 螢火蟲於麥田裡飛舞盛況。螢火蟲與麥草施以金漆蒔繪，堆疊出淺浮雕般效果，並於螢蟲腹部發光部位飾以螺鈿。與常見為追求華麗燦爛，而將螺鈿鋪滿作品的技法不同，僅點綴些許於重點處。整體意境高雅而優美，毫無繁複厚重感，實為難能可貴之佳作。
