八瓣葵花形，半圆钮，钮两侧为对称舞鸾，长尾上翻，仪态华美。钮上饰一枝双颈莲花，对称式向两侧伸延再向内相交，生出莲花和花苞，一只鹦鹉倒垂于莲蓬之上吸吮花露，两片莲叶对称分支。钮下方莲蓬上立有一对鸳鸯，枝叶向两侧延伸出荷叶及花朵，外区以花卉、花果、雁、雀鸟纹两两相隔，窄平葵花缘。此镜纹饰大气，图案精美，品相完好。鸾为凤凰之属，象征吉祥；鸳鸯匹配之鸟，象征爱情；莲花出淤泥而不染，为圣洁之花，这些纹饰相组合成为双鸾镜，为唐代流行镜种，不可多得。
