A haematite cylinder seal with frieze depicting a standing king with conical headdress and raised sceptre, one foot on a block, facing a robed bearded figure with a staff, star and crescent between, third figure to the rear with mantle holding a cup and vessel, quadrupeds beneath a block of cuneiform text. 19 grams, 27mm (1"). Property of a West Yorkshire collector; formerly in the Rihani family collection; acquired before 1980. Accompanied by a museum-quality impression.
