A large hollow-formed mount depicting the head of Bacchus (Greek Dionysus), with carefully modelled hair parted in the middle, vine-leaf crown with four large rosettes resting on his head. 167 grams, 65mm (2 1/2"). Property of a European gentleman living in London; acquired on the UK art market.
