A rectangular-section hoop and expanding shoulders supporting two box bezels with a band of foliage ornament on a hatched field; each bezel with applied pins to the outer face forming claw settings for a glass 'turquoise' cloison and garnet cabochon. Cf. Taylor, G. & Scarisbrick, D. Finger Rings from Ancient Egypt to the Present Day, Oxford, 1978, item 695 for a ring with double box bezel. 5.89 grams, 28mm overall, 17.60mm internal diameter (approximate size British O, USA 7 1/4, Europe 15.0, Japan 14) (1").
