1st century BC. Danubian tribal mint. Obv: good style head of Dionysus right. Rev: crude standing Herakles figure with pelletted club and lionskin; double lines of large pellets in place of legends. See DLT 9685 (for similar example"). 16.48 grams. Copied from a Thasos tetradrachm (see Sear 1759, etc. for example of original type).
