Description

题识：背师李仰槐本大意，写于寒水堂，燕孙徐操。钤印：徐操私印、燕孙说明纪录：北京拍卖会，1998年8月11日，编号244说明：拍品为徐操绘《十六应真图卷》，题拟明李士达笔意，原本现已失考。十六应真之说见于唐玄奘译《法住记》，后人增以伏虎、降龙二尊遂成十八罗汉，本幅卷末绘有伏虎尊者，应是版本流传变更之故。徐操善作人物，是卷罗汉形貌有别、姿势各异，持不同法器，数人一组，顾盼之间互有呼应。人物线条劲健流畅，以淡赭染肤色，眉目奕奕有神，生动传神。
