Art Deco Tiffany Clock
During the Art Deco era, Tiffany offered delicate and elaborately-made enamel clocks with Eastern cultural elements, often using landscapes, auspicious mythical animals and clouds as themes. Several workshops were often hired simultaneously to supply the watchmaking components. Tiffany collaborated with Vacheron & Constantin, and Verger Frères to supply the fine caseworks for timepieces.

Each element of the desk clock, was handmade. A team of six or seven specialist watch-makers were used for the manufacture of one clock. In addition to the watchmakers, there were designers, goldsmiths, enamellers, lapidaries, stone-setters and polishers involved. This clock(lot 657) features carved jadeite, nephrite, lapis lazuli, onyx, diamonds, lacquer, finely painted enamel and cloisonné work demonstrating the diversity of materials used. The result being a unique collaboration between East and West techniques showcasing the very best of the fashionable Art Deco period.

裝飾藝術時期蒂芙尼座鐘
於裝飾藝術時期，蒂芙尼精工製作擁有東方文化元素及非常考究的琺瑯座鐘，常以山水、吉祥的神話動物及雲彩為主題。他們會同時聘用幾家工作室以供應製表的零件。蒂芙尼（Tiffany＆Co.）與江詩丹頓（Vacheron＆Constantin）及供應高雅精緻錶殼的Verger Frères建立了合作關係。

座鐘的每一個部分都是手工製作。製作一個座鐘須要一組六至七名的鐘錶製造專家團隊。除了製錶師，還有設計師、金匠、琺瑯、寶石、鑲石、和拋光的工匠參與其中。這只座鐘（拍品657）採用了精雕翡翠、軟玉、青金石、瑪瑙、鑽石、漆器、彩繪珐琅和景泰藍，展示了所用材料的多樣性。成品糅合了東西方各具特色的工藝，最能呈現裝飾藝術時期的時尚風貌。
