黄铜制，此尊罗汉两腮深陷，身形枯槁，瘦骨嶙峋，胸骨及脊柱凸显。半跌跏坐于地上，双臂交叉放于腿上，作冥想状。释迦牟尼成佛前，独自在摩揭陀国的前正觉山西南15里的优楼频罗村苦行林下苦行6年。日食一麻一麦，身体经受了极大的痛苦,《瑞应本起经》五卷本曾记载，苦行修行的菩萨，形体肌骨枯腐。故多有僧人效仿，苦行像成为佛教艺术中一种特殊的创作表现。
