这对木雕彩绘像为木质，制作精细，人像呈立姿，五官精致，身着长袍，上以彩绘技法描绘人物衣纹，间以描金装饰，外观富丽，彩料鲜艳，人偶本出现于春秋时期，后世多作葬具，兼作宗教供像和陈设。由于易于朽坏，故而传世不多。此对明代木雕彩绘人物像，彩漆保存完好，是件难得的明代木作。
