此瓦當壺為曼生十八式中之一，半圓形扁體，直身，平底，仿 漢代半截瓦當。段泥為料，砂質細潤，壺呈優弧形，曲柄短流， 氣韻古雅。嵌入式弧蓋與壺身連為一體，蓋內有蓮生款式，上 壺蓋亦微弧，與壺身線條保持一致。楊彭年，字二泉，浙江桐 鄉人，清嘉慶、道光年間宜興紫砂名工，制茗壺首創捏嘴不用 模子和掇暗嘴之工藝，雖隨意製成，亦有天然之致，世稱“彭 年壺”。參閱:1. 北京誠軒拍賣 , 2014/11/20, Lot 0727。
