Description

此壶做矮梨式，是功夫茶壶中最常见的形制，所见多佳器，耐人玩味。清代俞蛟《梦庵杂着·潮嘉风月记》：“功夫茶，烹治之法，本诸陆羽茶经，而器具更为精致。……壶出宜兴者最佳，圆体扁腹，努嘴曲柄，大者可受半升许。……”旧而佳者，贵如拱璧，寻常舟中不易得也”。清代文人雅士喜书香茶道，功夫茶俗不但崇尚宜兴小壶，有能力者更追逐名家制器，所以紫砂陶史上的许多名家，都被后来的陶人寄托作为署款，例如供春、时大彬、陈子畦、徐土衡、惠孟臣、惠逸公、允公等，有清一代蔚为风尚。
