来源：北京市文物店旧藏。说明：和田白玉材质，工艺繁复，做工精良，包浆厚重，光泽莹润。本拍品仿古彝器方壶形，主要装饰为仿古饕餮纹，反映乾隆帝及乾隆朝慕古之风，乾隆帝提倡效上古圣贤之道，崇尚高古先民简约朴实之风，认为古典器物朴素、精纯、高雅、有意涵。清宫旧藏一件清乾隆带仿古款的碧玉雕仿古壶可与本器作比较，见郑欣淼，《故宫博物院藏品大系：玉器编10》，北京，2010年，图版6。也对比另一件清宫旧藏清嘉庆带仿古款的碧玉雕盖壶，著录于《故宫博物院文物珍品大系：玉器（III）》，香港，1995年，图版150。
