A hand-coloured engraved map of Barbados, with a cartouche to the lower right, inscribed 'Novissima et Acuratissima BARBADOS DESCRIPTIO per JOHANNEM OGILUIUM Cosmographum Regium', the island depicted with trees and plants, including sugar cane, a 'cabage tree', 'a pine Aple' and a 'pappaw tree', 29.2 x 35.7cm, in later glazed bird's eye maple frame.
