Pair of Chinese Ming Dynasty Period, Wanli Wucai figurines lidded jars. The shape having thick potted body, sturdily potted in a bulbous body, gently tapered on shoulder toward prominent slight shrink neck with flaring opening wavy form lip, raised on small round base, with reverse bowl dome lid and finial bud. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white underglaze base color which contrast against the DouCai design color. The Exterior adorned with some figure sage in the terrace below ruyi clouds and vapor beside dense tree, flowers blooms, all in a salubrious garden. The porcelain displays a subtle sheen as the light ricochets across the finely glazed exterior.
