来源：日本藏家旧藏此式造型与纹饰为永乐时期官窑之典型风格，拍品撇口、束颈、垂腹、圈足，标准的玉壶春形制，足露胎，略带火石红，整体造型优雅俊秀。通体施青釉，釉色厚重古拙，极其柔美清雅。近足处釉堆积深如青碧湖水，浓淡有致，玉质感强。颈部剔刻蕉叶纹；肩部饰云纹；腹部主纹饰为缠枝牡丹纹，其下刻变形莲瓣；器物修胎讲究，制作精湛，别有韵味。构图舒朗有序，纹样清晰，质感强烈，生动精细，展现出明初特有的豪迈气概，刻花手法娴熟，刀法流畅犀利。所刻枝蔓花卉轻盈舒展，气脉连贯毫不逊色于笔绘之神韵，为龙泉官窑玉壶春瓶之佳妙隽品。
