款识：「大明宣德年制」六字三行楷书款 来源：美国私人收藏 ：桥耳之炉，本为《授业》·《八卷谱》中，授国子监。多有大器，置于殿堂，诸如「乾隆帝赏古图」。后来文人，仿作小器，亦颇为精美。此炉观其皮壳厚泽细腻，淡雅古朴，炉身小巧别致，通体点金，美如山花烂漫，尽显贵气。器薄体重，敞口圆唇，桥耳跷起如拱，极富张力。侈口，束颈，扁圆鼓腹，底承三乳足各据其位，稳健有力。整器自上至下线条低徊婉转，形体丰满绰约。内膛平整，烧结老道。炉底「大明宣德年制」六字楷书款，结构端庄，笔力遒劲。其铜质细腻精炼，入手沉坠，叩之声传悠远，绵长跌宕。陈设于室可赏其形，品香论道可取其神，堪称神形兼备，色艺双馨。
