出版:吴大澄着《权衡度量实验考》 《尔雅．释器》载：「肉倍好，谓之璧；好倍肉，谓之瑗；肉好若一，谓之环」。玉瑗是一种地位高者召见地位低者的信物，古时凡天子召见诸侯，诸侯召见卿大夫时，会命人拿着玉瑗，以为凭证。被召见者见到使者带来的玉瑗，便要立即赶到召见者身旁听命。吴湖帆先生有言：”此瑗合镇圭尺五存二分，玉色纯绿有土斑，古之琅玕玉也“。于此玉瑗，料为青绿色，器表大部分沁色为灰褐色及深褐色，器面平整，中部钻圆孔，外缘工整，周身光素，通体磨光，沁斑自然典雅，呈现沉稳之质，包浆自然古朴，望之令人心醉。来源:吴湖帆旧藏
