NEVERS, late 18th century. Four revolutionary PLACES with contoured edges in stanniferous earthenware. Polychrome decoration of big fire: -ASSIETTE with decoration of a castle and a church surmounted by a Phrygian cap symbolizing the three orders. On the reverse side the handwritten inscription "Ripault". -ASSIETTE decorated with the three orders in medallions and a shovel supporting a closed crown. -ASSIETTE with decoration of the three orders on a column resting on a flowered mound. -ASSIETTE decorated with a column, a flag and two drums in a wooded landscape. Diam. 22.5 cm (splinters and restorations).
