NEVERS, late 18th century. Three revolutionary PLACES, contoured edges in stanniferous earthenware. Polychrome decoration of great fire: - ASSEMBLY representing in a medallion a man sitting on a sheaf of wheat, holding a shovel in front of a butt and a sword surmounting the inscription "W (long live) the nation". On the reverse side the inscription "Ripault". (Missing on the edge). - ASSEMBLY decorated with a winged love in a wooded landscape standing on a plot brandishing a banner bearing the inscription "W.L.R". On the reverse side the handwritten inscription "Ripault". - ASSEMBLY decorated with a love holding a flag seated on military trophies, the meeting of the three orders to its right and the inscription "W (vivid) the Nation". On the reverse side the handwritten inscription "Ripault". Diam. 22.5 cm. A similar model preserved in the collections of the Adrien Dubouché Museum, Limoges, No. ADL9521.
