NEVERS, late 18th century. Revolutionary ASSEMBLY with contoured edge in stanniferous earthenware. Polychrome decoration of a large fire with an outstretched arm holding a balance in a rock garden framed by garlands of flowers, surmounted by a Medici vase and framed by six ears of wheat. On the reverse side the apocryphal inscription "Ripault". Diam. 22.5 cm. A similar model preserved in the National Museum of Ceramics in Rouen (inv. 2167).
