A matched pair of bronze bridle cheek-pieces, each a standing quadruped (ibex?) with ribbed crescent horns and head modelled in the half-round, pierced at the flank to accept the bit; mounted on a custom-made stand. See Moorey, P.R.S. Ancient Bronzes From Luristan, London, 1974. 1.5 kg total, 25.5cm with stand (10"). From a UK private collection.
