A silver bow brooch (fibula) of Almgren's 'strongly-profiled' type, with the bow markedly arched with a pronounced button which is slightly flattened at the back, broad head narrowing to the neck before widening again into side-wings, the external chord of the eight-turn once secured by a forward hook, foot leaning to one side with strong reverse curve and a large terminal button and knob, catchplate with a small circular perforation. 20 grams total, 24-42mm (1 - 1 1/2").
