A mixed group of carnelian gemstones with intaglio motifs comprising: bird with human head wearing a helmet; standing figure of Victory with wings folded, frond in one hand; regardant horse; dolphin with S-curved body; ibex(?) fleeing with frond behind, and one Christian seriffed KHI-RHO; each accompanied by a museum-quality impression. 3 grams total, 8-10mm (1/2"). Property of a Middlesex lady; acquired on the London art market in 2007; formerly in a private collection formed in the 1980s. [6]
